The Douglas Rifle and Pistol Club is an organization of individuals and families who enjoy and support the lawful use of firearms for sport and defense. DRPC is committed to the conservation of wildlife, the preservation of sport hunting, and the protection of the rights of gun owners.

The club maintains and operates the Douglas Shooting Range, one mile east of Douglas on Geronimo Trail. The club conducts monthly small bore rifle silhouette matches, combat pistol matches, and other shooting-related events.

NO Hunting at the Shooting Range!

The shooting range is maintained with assistance of the Arizona Game and Fish Commission. There is ABSOLUTELY NO HUNTING ALLOWED AT THE SHOOTING RANGE.

The Douglas Rifle and Pistol Club is an organization of individuals and families who enjoy and support the lawful use of firearms for sport and defense. DRPC is committed to the conservation of wildlife, the preservation of sport hunting, and the protection of the rights of gun owners.

The Rifle & Pistol Club...

Throughout the year the club offers:

  • Hunter Education courses
  • Concealed Weapon Permit courses
  • Courses in the tactical/defensive use of firearms.
  • Free sighting-in days prior to hunting seasons.
  • Shooting-related events including rifle and combat pistol matches.

The Shooting Range...

The club also maintains and operates the Douglas Shooting Range, one mile east of Douglas on Geronimo Trail. The range is open to DRPC Members 7-Days/Week, and to Non-Members Wednesdays thru Sundays.

How to Join DRPC



  1. All applications for membership are subject to approval by the Executive Board of the DRPC.
  2. Monthly members' meeting are held on the first Thursday of each month at the Cowbell Hall  on 10th Street. Meetings start at 7:00PM.
  3. Annual membership dues are as follows...
    • Individual Membership: $55/year
    • Family Membership: $65/year (covers You, your Spouse, and all children under 18 years of age)
    • Senior Membership: $35/year (those 65 years of age or older)
    Note: NRA Members who provide their NRA Membership # qualify for a $5 discount.
